Technical Skills
- Strong experience on IBM z/OS environment
- Proficiency in:
- COBOL
- JCL
- REXX / CLIST
- TSO/ISPF
- Hands-on experience with:
- DB2
- VSAM
- CICS
- IMS (DB/DC)
- Good understanding of batch and online job processing
- Familiarity with source control and SDLC practices in mainframe environments
GenAI & Modern Skills
- Working knowledge of Generative AI tools (Copilot LLM-based assistants)
- Ability to apply AI tools for:
- Code analysis and modernization
- Productivity improvement and automation
- Exposure to modernization concepts API enablement or hybrid mainframe-cloud models is a plus
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adopt emerging technologies
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Experience in mainframe modernization or AI-assisted development initiatives
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to Python or scripting for automation (optional)
