We are currently seeking afull-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join our team at Phillips State Prison located in Buford Georgia.
TheNurse Practitionerworks under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team performing assessments diagnosing patients and medication management.
The Physician Assistant (Medical) works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of healthcare and patient care management including collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team performing assessments diagnosing patients and assisting with medication management.
Qualifications
Graduate degree required Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA) certification/license required Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority Ability to obtain security clearance
Active unrestricted GA APRN license
Ability to pass background check
