Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. As an Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department by performing various tasks related to accounts payable accounts receivable and general accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify and reconcile invoices statements and payments
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor and maintain accounting records and files
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks SAP etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Real estate industry experience is a plus
