Position: Mathematics Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $72$80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author review and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on mathematics problems.
- Produce original problem sets grounded in mathematical diagrams graphs and geometric figures.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Provide clear structured feedback to improve training data quality and downstream performance.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in Mathematics or MS in Mathematics with 3 years teaching research or applied work or BS in Mathematics with 5 years tutoring contest coaching or applied math experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: real analysis algebra topology probability combinatorics differential equations.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting mathematical diagrams graphs and geometric figures.
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
