Position: Sociology Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60$68/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Author technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on sociology problems.
• Review and annotate tasks involving demographic charts social network diagrams and survey output.
• Produce original problem sets grounded in sociology concepts.
• Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.
• Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• PhD in Sociology MA in Sociology with 3 years research policy or teaching experience or BA in Sociology with 5 years applied research policy or teaching experience.
• Working fluency in at least two of: social theory stratification demography qualitative methods quantitative methods.
• Comfortable with demographic charts social network diagrams and survey output.
• Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
