Position: Sociology Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60$68/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on sociology problems.
- Review and annotate tasks involving demographic charts social network diagrams and survey output.
- Produce original problem sets grounded in sociology concepts.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.
- Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in Sociology MA in Sociology with 3 years research policy or teaching experience or BA in Sociology with 5 years applied research policy or teaching experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: social theory stratification demography qualitative methods quantitative methods.
- Comfortable with demographic charts social network diagrams and survey output.
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
