Position: Economics Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $75$83/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on economics problems.
- Review and annotate problem sets using supply/demand figures econometric output and policy charts.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to improve task quality and throughput.
- Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in Economics MS/MA in Economics with 3 years experience or BA/BS in Economics with 5 years experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: microeconomics macroeconomics econometrics industrial organization labor development.
- Comfortable with supply/demand figures econometric output and policy charts.
- Clear technical writing skills; articulate reasoning step-by-step.
