Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our utility construction team in New Orleans this role you will support field crews with the installation maintenance and repair of underground utilities such as water sewer gas and telecommunications systems. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious dependable and able to perform physical labor while working collaboratively with a team in outdoor construction environments.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor in a construction or outdoor work environment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Strong work ethic reliability and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders.
• Valid drivers license preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction utility work or general labor.
• Experience working around underground utilities such as water sewer gas or telecommunications.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction equipment.
• Experience assisting equipment operators or drilling crews.
• CDL (Commercial Drivers License) or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist crews with the installation and maintenance of underground utilities.
• Load unload and transport tools materials and equipment.
• Use hand tools and assist with basic construction tasks.
• Support equipment operators and skilled crew members as needed.
• Help prepare and clean up job sites.
• Follow all company safety policies and job site procedures.
• Assist with trenching pipe installation and site restoration tasks.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
