We are recruiting a full-time physician assistant (PA) at the faculty rank of Teaching Associate to join our spine surgery service at the University of Washington Medical Center Northwest Hospital and Montlake Campuses. The successful candidate is expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and have effective interpersonal skills leadership skills and clinical expertise. Our physician assistants are responsible for providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in the surgical inpatient and outpatient settings. Teaching associates hold annualappointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. This position hasa flexible start date in thespring or summer of2026.
Salary:
The base salary range for this position will be: $10000 - $14850 per month ($00annually) commensurate withqualifications andyears of experience as a physician assistant or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations.
