Assistant Restaurant Manager

Kahills Chophouse is located in South Sioux City NE is looking to expand its food and beverage management team. It is seeking a Dining Room Manager. The right candidate will help maintain an efficient profitable and professional work environment in all areas of the food and beverage operation.

Responsibilities:

• Upscale dining room management of Kahills Chophouse
• Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals by holdingthe team accountable to service standards
• Supports and communicates business initiatives
• Work closely with the Culinary Team to ensure proper execution for events and daily dining
• Executes primary relationships with business clients staff members and partners
• Ensure the team collectively stays relevant with industry trends and advancements
• Ensure menu/beverage/facility knowledge of staff
• Ensure proper training on quality and service standards and have the tools & equipment to effectively carry out their job functions.
• Promotes a cooperative work climate maximizing productivity and morale
• Interviews hires trains and develops team members
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and ongoing development for every member of your team to ultimately ensure an exceptional guest experience

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and a management position
• Has strong attention to detail
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Able to communicate effectively with the management team guests and team members
• English reading writing math and computer skills required
• Must be able to reach lift stoop bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout the shift
• Must be able to work extended shifts if necessary
• Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
