Job Summary

The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Components team at Processing Equipment AB is recruiting a Technical Product Manager to own and develop the product portfolio within Electrical and Automation. The location for this position is Lund Sweden.

What you will do

The team is responsible for owning and developing the global product portfolios of OEM components. The components are identified and purchased based on internal needs and external insights and capabilities from selected suppliers and intended to support all three businesses: Packaging Processing and Services. As example the team owns portfolios of pumps valves electrical components pneumatics motors drives etc.

The aim for the team is to drive standardization of OEM components across Tetra Pak and to secure that the component portfolio supports the business success for Tetra Pak on short and long term. Through tight and continuous stakeholder collaboration we continuously improve the OEM portfolios to ensure competitiveness and to support business strategies whilst complying to Tetra Pak standards and legal requirements.

You will be a part of a technically skilled team with the focus on creating managing supporting deploying and developing a competitive global standard portfolio of OEM components. You will work closely with our suppliers as well as with internal stakeholders across Tetra Pak such as Business Streams the Project organization Services Development & Technology (D&T) and Supplier Management.

As a Technical Product Manager you will:

  • Manage and continuously improve your portfolio throughout its lifecycle
  • Based on overarching goals set and execute on strategic and operational targets for the portfolio
  • Create and implement your portfolio strategy in close collaboration with Supplier management and other key stakeholders
  • Drive product deployment and standardization
  • Support internal stakeholders with technical support
  • Actively build and work with your portfolio network
  • Lead the technical dialogue with suppliers on e.g. specifications
  • Be continuously aware of short and long term internal needs and external trends and shifts relevant to your portfolio
  • Create and perform internal product trainings
  • Own the product documentation/information and make sure it is created and well maintained
  • Proactively make sure that information related to the components is easily available and that technical information is communicated to relevant stakeholders in a structured way
  • Ensure components are compliant with legal demands and Tetra Pak requirements
  • Together with Supplier Management drive actions with suppliers to improve quality where needed

We believe you have

  • University degree or equivalent in engineering or similar work experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Technical knowledge and experience in Electrical and Automation
  • Strategy driven yet technically knowledgeable and interested in the details
  • Experience in technical product management and long-term portfolio development is an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent English language knowledge
  • Experience in data & analytics for Product management is preferred
