Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

Responsible for customer service processes including receiving critically analyzing and placing sales orders as well as preparing and following up on deliveries.

Main Responsabilities

Act as the primary point of contact for customers supporting all steps of the order lifecycle;

Receive validate and enter customer orders into SAP performing critical checks to ensure data accuracy;

Coordinate with internal teams (Pricing Credit Regulatory Affairs) to resolve any order blocks or issues;

Collaborate with the Planning team to confirm material availability and secure ontime deliveries;

Create deliveries manage batch selection and assist with delivery scheduling when needed;

Issue the invoices;

Record reasons for delivery delays and proactively work to prevent future issues;

Request transportation for finished goods and internalize special customer requests;

Monitor shipments and support customers until delivery is successfully completed;

Keep customer manuals and specifications updated and aligned;

Manage the billing of accounts under your responsibility;

Track and support improvement of Customer Service KPIs and update procedures and work instructions (ITs).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in customer service or related fields.
• Education: bachelors degree in Production Engineering Business Administration Logistics or a related area. Postgraduate studies or an MBA is considered an advantage.
• Customer Support Expertise: proven experience in customer assistance with a strong focus on after-sales support and problem resolution.
• Language Skills: advanced English is required; Spanish is a plus.
• SAP Proficiency: experience with SAP for order management customer data and sales processes is highly desirable.
• Microsoft Office Skills: proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook) with the ability to prepare reports analyze data and communicate effectively.
• Additional Skills: excellent interpersonal and communication skills attention to detail and a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
