Lead Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger.

• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and SOCPA standards.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports statements and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.

• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

• Coordinate and complete annual audits and ensure proper documentation and compliance.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Provide strategic recommendations to management based on financial analysis and projections.

• Train supervise and evaluate the performance of accounting staff.

Qualifications :

• Over 5 years of solid experience in accounting with a strong understanding of financial principles and best practices.

• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively with native speakers.

• Strong knowledge of the KSA market including relevant laws regulations and SOCPA standards.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Customer-oriented mindset.

• Ability to clearly explain key financial outcomes and metrics to managerial-level stakeholders and decision makers.

• Data-driven approach with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior finance team members.

• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar ERP systems).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
