Job Title: Operations Specialist Ground Handling

Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Operations Specialist Ground Handling to support and supervise airside logistics and coordination activities for aircraft operations at a strategic location in Jeddah. This role ensures the safe timely and efficient handling of all ground-side requirements operating within a secure and high-compliance environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate ramp operations baggage handling fueling catering and passenger service functions.
Ensure compliance with operational safety regulations and standard airport protocols.
Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders and third-party ground service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
Conduct briefings and debriefings to monitor performance standards.
Monitor flight activity and disseminate information regarding delays or operational changes.
Maintain detailed records of activities incidents and service metrics.
Perform ramp audits to ensure procedural compliance.
Support irregular operations (IRROPS) including emergency response coordination.
Act as the main point of contact for airline operations teams.
Provide logistical support including crew transportation and life support services.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum of 23 years experience in airport or ground handling operations.
Strong understanding of airline procedures airport logistics and operational coordination.
Familiar with global aviation safety standards including IATA and ICAO.
Skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a dynamic time-sensitive environment.
Proficient with airport systems such as DCS SITA and AODB and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
Preferred
IATA certification in Ground Operations or similar.
Experience working in multi-operator airport environments.
Valid airside security clearances and driving permit (if applicable).
