Be a part of our mission to support First Nations in achieving their financial goals and enhancing their administrative role is an 8-week term position open to youth between the ages of 15-30 as part of the Canada Summer Jobs ApplyFlexible work hours and a 35-hour work weekOpportunities for professional development and career growthA talented diverse and inclusive team doing transformative work on a national scaleHybrid work opportunities availableWhat You Will DoAssist Financial Specialist in accounting procedures such as Bank Reconciliations Accounts Payable Revenue Recognition Journal Entries with First Nation client;Provide monthly data analysis and reporting on First Nation clients specific to remote accounting sustainable training or supplemental services;Assist Financial Specialists in reporting and review of compliance reporting policy & procedures reviews project management reports and assignments;Provide support and development on Sustainable training or Supplemental Services training opportunities;Provide administrative support and technical assistance to Financial Specialists to support First Nation and support relationship with Financial Specialists to provide the knowledge transfer and capacity building to First Nation You AreEnrolled completed or considering Post-Secondary Education in Business Finance accounting or Administrative to follow industry trends and current working with Indigenous Governments organizations and communities considered a strong communicator with a strong command of written and spoken English; French language skills an -organized with the ability to work within deadlines; analytical mind with attention to working skills in Microsoft working in Microsoft Office understanding awareness and appreciation of Indigenous culture and to ExpectFMB aims to keep the recruitment process as open as possible.
