Job Summary

Koniag Operations Services LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to support KOS and our government customer in Charleston SC. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. This position is covered under the Service Contract Act. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) clearance to support KOS and our government Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:The Custodial Supervisor will lead and oversee the custodial team to ensure the highest standards of facility cleanliness safety and maintenance. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Lead supervise and manage the custodial team to maintain exceptional standards of facility cleanliness and safetyOversee and coordinate daily custodial operations ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently on schedule and in full compliance with contract standards and specificationsDevelop implement and monitor safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a secure and healthy working environment for all staff and facility occupantsCoordinate and manage team schedules work assignments and performance evaluations to meet facility maintenance goals and objectivesServe as the primary point of contact between the custodial team management and client representatives regarding service quality facility needs and operational concernsConduct regular inspections of assigned areas and facilities to ensure quality control adherence to safety requirements and compliance with contract specificationsTrain new custodial staff on proper cleaning techniques equipment operation safety procedures and company standardsManage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance of custodial toolsAddress and resolve any facility maintenance issues customer concerns or team performance matters in a timely and professional mannerEducation and Experience:Required:High School Diploma or equivalent34 years of experience in custodial services or facility maintenancePrior supervisory or leadership experience in custodial operations is requiredAbility to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) clearanceRequired Skills and Competencies:Proven leadership and team management abilities with experience supervising custodial staffStrong knowledge of custodial procedures cleaning techniques and industry best practicesComprehensive understanding of safety protocols OSHA regulations and hazardous material handlingExcellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to interface effectively with team members management and client representativesStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilitiesAbility to conduct performance evaluations provide constructive feedback and implement corrective actions when necessaryProficiency in inventory management and supply ordering processesFlexibility to adjust schedules and respond to urgent facility needs or emergency situationsPhysical ability to perform custodial duties as needed and inspect all facility areasDetail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standardsProblem-solving skills with the ability to address operational challenges and customer concerns effectivelySecurity Requirement: Ability to obtain a Public Trust Desired Skills and Competencies:Experience working in a federal government facility or supporting government contractsCertification in custodial or facility management (e.g. CIMS ISSA certifications)Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) to effectively communicate with diverse team membersExperience with custodial management software or facility maintenance tracking systemsKnowledge of green cleaning practices and environmentally sustainable custodial proceduresExperience with budget management and cost control in custodial operationsOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
