Title:Central Office Warehouse / Custodial Supervisor
Schedule: 8am - 5pm(could vary depending on daily duties) / Year Round Employment
Reports to: Director of Support Services
Purpose and Objectives of the Position: The Central Office Warehouse/Custodial Supervisor completes fills and delivers orders requested by buildings and departments in a timely manner. Maintains an orderly warehouse and keeps the Central Office clean and orderly at all times. He/she also supervises district wide custodial staff including custodial training coordinating summer cleaning schedules staffing approving leave requests and cleaning procedures and supplies.
I. Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to supervise and coordinate custodial staff to ensure the safety of students staff and visit
- Ability to complete custodial scheduling and maintain daily work schedules.
- Ability to order and check-in custodial suppli
- Ability to assist custodial staff with their duti
- Ability to schedule training sessions for custodial staff.
- Maintain safe working conditions throughout the warehouse area.
- Monitor security for entrances/exits to safeguard district property.
- Unload delivery trucks.
- Receive supplies and equipment; compare actual quantities with packing slip quantities; and records damage and variance
- Perform physical inventory of warehouse stock item
- Load district vehicles; deliver supplies and equipment to buildings and departments.
- Pickup/deliver textbooks and other items designated for disposal.
- Maintain warehouse and central office area to insure good safety fire safety housekeeping practices and cleanline
- Identify items in short supply.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with members of the school district and community.
- Ability to react to change and frequent interruptions in a productive and positive manner meeting deadlines as assigne
- Ability to exercise appropriate judgment and initiative to handle emergencies as they arise. Such things as spills stopped up stools and broken glass must be handled immediately and expeditiously along with regular duties.
- Ability to implement the wishes of the school administration to facilitate the smooth operations of the school program.
- Ability to maintain grounds around the Central Office to conform to district standards.

II. Building Maintenance:
- Building maintenance is a daily responsibility. The following maintenance needs should be identified as regular duties and either corrected or reported to the supervisors:
- Replacement of light bulbs and ballast light switches electrical plugs.
- Replacement of damaged ceiling tiles.
- Repair urinal / toilet flush valves.
- Snow and ice removal on sidewalks including walking roof for damage.
III. Safety:
- Operate tools equipment and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job dutie
- Ensure delivery vehicle equipment and tools are in safe operating conditio
- Inspect and adjust tools and equipment for safety and efficiency.
- Correct unsafe condition in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisors immediately.
IV. Equipment Use:
- Delivery truck fork-lift small hand tools and cleaning equipment.
- Pallet jack and dolli
V. Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- Continuous walking standing climbing stooping bending kneeling reaching carrying and heavy lifting. Frequent district wide travel.
- Requires physical exertion to manually move lift carry pull or push heavy objects or material
- Must work indoors and outdoors year-round.
- Must occasionally work in noisy and crowded environment with numerous interruptions.
- Must work in and around dust fumes and odors.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Kansas CDL License is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklift.
- Ability to operate truc
- Ability to lift up to 75 pound
- Two years related warehouse work experien
- Ability to observe and follow all school district policies at all times.
- Ability to implement and follow all district health and safety policies including all precautions of the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan.
- Must verify good health by passing a physical examination which includes TB and drug test as required.
- Desire to continue career improvement by enhancing skills and job performan
- Ability to keep student and personnel information and records confidential.
Terms of Employment: At Will and Exempt Position. Salary to be established by the Board.
