Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Per Diem

We are seeking an experienced OB/MFM Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine department in an on-call/per diem capacity. Ideal candidate must be ARDMS registered in OB with a passion in high-risk perinatology and have full knowledge of the indications contraindications and hazards associated with procedures.

Location: Salmon Creek

Hiring range starting at $49.79 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Schedule: Varying shifts Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM

810 hours per week typically 13 days per week

In this role you will:

• Provide diagnostic studies treatment and support to high-risk obstetric patients by performing specific diagnostic tests as ordered by providers

• Assure accuracy of test results reports and equipment by having a thorough understanding of tests and techniques.

• Have ability to perform variety of OB procedures

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to interact effectively with patients and physicians in pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ARDMS accredited school of ultrasound.

• ARDMS registered in OB required.

• Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification preferred.

• 4-5 years of experience in OB sonography preferred

• Experienced in high risk OB ultrasounds a bonus

• Endovaginal scanning skills required.

• Previous experience in an outpatient medical or Perinatology Clinic strongly preferred
