About The Role
The Customer Development Manager is a key role in driving the activity increased sales and overall integration for our new as existing customers taking Movex services. Collaborating across the Enterprise Sales division the Customer Development Manager will support the sales team in onboarding and implementing new customer services interacting with existing customers to increase movements across sites and resolving customer queries. As a performance related role the majority of activities will be in generating additional growth throughout a current and prospective customer base specific to the Movex brand which in turn will support the COX Automotive brand in supporting its customers through a wider and more strategic trusted partnership.
What Youll Be Doing
- Representing and promoting Movex within the open market to support new business development and to build the brand/market presence.
- Building effective relationships and working closely with key Customers and Dealers in the Automotive Industry; to actively promote the Movex Platform representing the Movex business promoting our people processes and performance in all aspects for Movex.
- Working positively and collaboratively being an engaged and active member of the Movex and Enterprise sales team.
- Develop and execute plans that achieve and reflect the objectives and priorities established by the Movex and Enterprise sales leadership team.
- Ensure processes are robust and fit for purpose reviewed on a regular basis and adapted in line with industry business and customer change requirements.
- Take ownership of activity and work to deliver stated objectives.
Support the Enterprise Sales Teams
- Work in conjunction with the Enterprise sales teams to support Movex sales programmes new business relationship independent dealer teams.
- Be initial point of contact for the Enterprise sales teams for queries concerns etc.
- Joint visit with the Enterprise sales teams as Movex subject matter expert new & existing business.
- Where practical attend the Enterprise sales teams meetings to be the voice of Movex.
- Hold regular opportunity pipeline reviews with the Enterprise sales leaders ensure blockers are overcome in moving through stage-gates.
- Establish and leverage relationships with the Enterprise sales team to drive volume.
Implementation & site compliance
- Define and own customer implementation and site penetration plans
- Work directly with customer stakeholders and Enterprise sales teams to ensure plans are a collaborative approach.
- Utilise Movex operational resources to drive registration & active user metrics.
- Measure and take remedial action where required.
Customer
- Support customer facing queries and decision making where required
- Operate within stated standards & expectation.
- Input into development of our technology platform ensuring customer experience at the forefront of decision making voice of the customer
- Develop relationships with clients and identify opportunities to build new business for both Movex and wider business.
- Identify and develop innovative methods to continually improve performance demonstrate continuous improvement in all areas and repeatedly enhance the customer experience.
- Work with the cross-business support functions to ensure a joined-up approach to customer experience (internal and external) is achieved.
Products Services and Technology
- Lead and support improvement projects within the business area as identified and when requested.
- Support the Movex business in developing an understanding of clients needs and wants and work with support teams to provide innovative and industry leading solutions that meet the changing needs of the business.
What Were Looking For
- Excellent customer service skills with previous customer services experience essential.
- Previous experience in managing accounts /building relationships.
- Be resourceful innovative and self-confident with the ability to work alone using initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal on the phone and in writing / email and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills ability to prioritise tasks and manage expectation.
- Proven track record of influencing stakeholders to create service/technical improvements.
- Excellent IT skills in Excel PowerPoint and Word with the ability to analyse data to drive performance.
- Strong history and track record of completing quality projects on time.
- Progress monitoring including budget control and milestone control; issue and risk management.
- Excellent presentation skills and strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
- Understand organisational culture and how to manage successful change.
