Manager Integrated Planning

Position Summary

Responsible for leading and implementing the new Food Lion integrated planning and creative development process to ensure that all brand campaigns achieve strategic objectives are delivered on-time and drive intended consumer behavior in-market. Leads processes to align marketing strategy brand creative insights media and communications teams at all phases of creative development from briefing creative concepting validation production final approval in-market execution and post launch analytics. Responsible for revamping briefs and RACI model ensuring that inputs are on-strategy complete and aligned. Responsible for managing workflows and timelines. On behalf of broader marketing organization leads efforts to identify needs and explore AI tools and processes to streamline workflows and free resources from repetitive workstreams.

Principle duties and responsibilities

• Leads briefing processes for 50 annual integrated brand campaigns collaborating with marketing strategy insights brand creative media and communications team to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manages timelines and key milestones ensuring team remains on-task through creative development validation production final approval launch and post-launch campaign analysis
• Maintains and updates all briefing tools templates and models. Deploys through the marketing organization.
• Oversees team of two project management leaders
• Assesses workflows and processes identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Scopes sources evaluates and recommends technical tools that fit with Food Lion marketing team needs to drive out inefficiency automate repeatable processes and free resources for more strategic
• Oversees specialist responsible for exploring and scoping new technology for creative development process

Basic Qualification

• Effective and proven Project and process management
• Able to successfully manage multiple competing priorities
• Understands campaign development milestones and processes
• Familiar with AI development tools

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with marketing/brand management in a retail environment
• Experience delivering integrated brand campaigns
• Experience and knowledge of key milestones and development timelines
• Effective coach and people developer
• Working familiarity with AI tools

Education

• BA/BS in Marketing/Advertising

Experience

• Minimum 5 years related experience with 3 years project management experience

Skills and abilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Extremely organized
• Able to hold others accountable
• Microsoft Office Word PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment.
• Expected trave less than 10%
