Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

• Coordinating sacramental programs RCIA catechist/teacher training and youth programs
• Planning seasonal events like Vacation Bible School Christmas Pageants and Stations of the Cross
• Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling attendance tracking facility requests and budgeting
• Working closely with the Catholic Chaplain and Chapel staff to support the overall program

• A familiarity with the Catholic Faith and practice as articulated by the documents of The Second Vatican Council and the subsequent statements of the American Conference of
• Catholic Bishops is preferred.
• A Roman Catholic faith is preferred but not mandatory.
• Possess an exemplary moral character.
• Two years experience working in an office environment
• Possess an Associates Degree or equivalent education/training.
• Experience in teaching.
• Have excellent organization and planning skills.
• Possess basic word-processing skills.
• Experience working in a military environment is preferred.
• Must have a working knowledge of applicable Army Regulation AR-165-1 and be familiar with the Chapel Tithes and Offerings Fund CTOF.
• Contractor must be willing to work in a pluralistic environment where they may come in contact with members from various faith groups and/or viewpoints.

DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status

This position is not eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
