JOB DESCRIPTION
Our vision is to assist businesses in advancing their digital transformation and achieving their business line with the introduction of SAPs innovative Public Cloud strategy we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Field Account Executive (m/f/d) capable of successfully implementing this strategic initiative in the Austrian market.
This role is fully focused on acquiring new customers in the Austrian upper mid-market segment operating in a partner-led sales model. All corporate business is executed in close alignment with a strong ecosystem of partners.
You will identify approach and win new logos while orchestrating partners as a key lever for scaling market reach and delivering customer value.
You are a true hunter with a strong drive ownership mindset and a passion for closing new business through indirect sales channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
As a Corporate Field Account Executive your primary mission will be to drive business growth by prospecting qualifying selling and closing new business opportunities related to the SAP Business Suite framework for New Business Accounts:
New Business Acquisition & Market Development
Identify target and win net new customers in the Austrian upper mid-market segment
Build and execute a strong new business pipeline through proactive prospecting (outbound networking events)
Develop and implement territory and account strategies focused on new logo acquisition
Activate enable and leverage the partner ecosystem to scale outreach and market penetration
Position the SAP Business Suite and promote SAP public cloud solutions as strategic enablers to solve business challenges
(Indirect) Sales Execution
Own and drive the entire sales cycle from first contact to deal closure within the indirect partner ecosystem
Orchestrate collaboration between partners pre-sales and internal stakeholders
Ensure partners are effectively positioned to deliver compelling customer engagements
Lead joint account planning and execution with partners
Market Positioning & Collaboration
Build a strong network within the Austrian mid-market landscape
Collaborate closely with internal teams to generate and convert leads
Differentiate through value-based and consultative selling
Demand Generation Pipeline & Performance Management
Build manage and maintain a high-quality (indirect) sales pipeline.
Collaborate with marketing business development and partners to generate and nurture leads within your territory.
Apply disciplined opportunity management and forecasting
Leverage the full range of SAP cloud offers including Industry Solutions LOB solutions and technology solutions to maximize sales opportunities.
Consistently achieve ambitious revenue targets and contribute to the companys growth strategy.
Sales Excellence
Focus on selling the value of SAP Business Suite to customers.
Execute up-sell and cross-sell initiatives on the customer base.
Orchestrate the deployment of the appropriate teams to ensure successful sales outcomes.
Utilize best practice sales models and position SAP solutions effectively against competitors.
Maintain accurate customer and pipeline information within the CRM system.
Leading a (Virtual) Account Team
Demonstrate leadership skills in coordinating remote teams to achieve shared goals.
Ensure account teams and partners are aligned with each accounts strategy and positioned effectively for customer interactions and events.
Maximize the value of all sales support organizations.
Experience & Educational Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex business software and IT solutions sales.
Proven track record in net new customer acquisition (hunter profile) and in Business Application Software Sales
Experience selling into the upper mid-market / mid-sized enterprise segment
Experience leading teams in a collaborative selling environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle cloud transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced consultative competitive market.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in renewals expansions and up-sells of subscription-based solutions.
Excellent communication skills in German and English (both languages written and spoken) is a must.
