PURPOSEThe Save A Lot Facilities Personnel is responsible for the repair upkeep and overall maintenance of the buildings equipment and grounds. This role ensures the facilities remain safe functional and well-maintained through preventative maintenance inspections and timely AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems (electrical plumbing HVAC carpentry and general repairs)Troubleshoot and repair facility and equipment issues in a timely mannerRespond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent repair needsCoordinate major repairs with approved vendors when necessaryInspect building systems lighting doors locks and structural componentsMaintain operational condition of facility equipment and fixturesComplete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and maintain recordsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentConduct routine safety inspections and correct hazardsFollow OSHA company safety and operational proceduresSupport emergency maintenance and safety response as neededMaintain exterior areas including entrances walkways and parking areasPerform seasonal duties such as snow removal and general grounds upkeepMaintain tools and equipment in good working conditionMonitor and restock maintenance suppliesMaintain maintenance logs service records and work order documentationQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSHigh school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)Minimum 1 year of facilities building or maintenance experience (Preferred)Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and general repair workAbility to safely operate hand and power toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksStrong communication and teamwork skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift up to 50 standing walking bending kneeling and climbing laddersAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditionsManual dexterity to operate tools and maintenance equipmentExposure to noise dust temperature changes and maintenance chemicalsActive hands-on work environmentEMPLOYEE ACKNOWLEDGMENTThis job description provides a general overview of the roles primary responsibilities and is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties.
