Position Summary: The Summer Enrichment Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging high-quality instruction to students participating in summer enrichment programs including Camp Invention and Cyber Camp. This role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment while supporting students academic growth creativity and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement daily lessons and activities aligned to the specific program (Camp Invention Cyber Camp or Kindergarten Jumpstart).
Deliver hands-on interactive instruction that promotes student engagement and active participation.
Maintain accurate daily attendance and report any discrepancies or concerns.
Create a safe inclusive and supportive classroom environment that meets the needs of all learners.
Collaborate with the Site Facilitator and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Communicate effectively with site staff regarding student progress behavior and any immediate needs.
Supervise students during instructional time transitions and designated non-instructional periods.
Follow all program guidelines safety procedures and district expectations.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching license or experience working with school-aged children preferred
Strong instructional classroom management and communication skills
Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs
Experience with STEM early childhood education or project-based learning is a plus (depending on program assignment)
Working Conditions:
Onsite instruction during scheduled program hours
Active engagement with students in the classroom and hands-on learning environments
This position plays a key role in providing meaningful and enriching learning experiences that support student success during the summer program.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
June 15 2026 through June 18 2026 Monday-Thursday 8:30 to 3:30

Performance evaluation will be conducted using data from day-to-day programming.
