Finance Manager, Cross Border FP&A

Were seeking a dynamic financial professional to become a critical partner in shaping Amazon Cross Borders strategic financial this pivotal position you will play an instrumental role supporting processes that are essential to Amazons financial planning capabilities by partnering broadly across the Finance organization to translate complex numbers into compelling narratives and insights that guide executive leadership.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial bridges narratives and strategic documents for executive leadership covering monthly quarterly and annual planning processes
- Manage the annual financial planning and quarterly budgeting exercises by providing accurate complete and timely forecasts
- Collaborate proactively with business finance teams using a customer-obsessed approach to ensure data accuracy and alignment of financial reporting
- Create guidance and workback plans to support key financial review meetings and processes
- Utilize advanced financial systems to conduct deep-dive analyses and generate executive-level summaries


A day in the life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of financial analysis strategic collaboration and impactful storytelling. Youll dive deep into financial data crafting narratives that illuminate Amazons performance working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that matter.

- Bachelors degree
- 6 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
