Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the Health and Welfare and retirement plans including open enrollment new hire and qualifying life events.
  • Conducts benefits audits and reporting.
  • Manage vendor relationships with insurance carriers brokers and third-party administrators.
  • Monitors ACA measurement and ensures accurate eligibility classification for successful year end IRS filing of the 1095C and 1094.
  • Manage FMLA LOA ADA Accommodation Processes Workers Compensation and OSHA.
  • Participate in plan design and benefits strategy initiatives including the creation of communication and benefits materials.
  • Manage Long Term Incentive (LTI) programs Employee Stock Purchase Programs (ESPP) and stock plans.
  • Analyze cost trends and implement cost-containment strategies.
  • Collaborates with HR Director and corporate team to support wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Provides excellent customer service and educates employees on company benefits offering.
  • Provides support to the South Florida AerSale facilities in an HR rep capacity such as:
  • Participating in employee disciplinary meetings terminations and investigations.
  • Assist in the onboarding and orientation process for new employees.
  • Submits employee changes in the companys HRIS.
  • Assists in employee offboarding process.
  • Travel of up to 20% is required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirement:

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or CEBs required.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing benefits programs.
  • Benefits Agency and/or Carrier experience highly preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excel proficiency required (v-lookup pivot tables etc.)
  • Proficient with HRIS workday experience highly preferred.
