Location: Bakersfield CA
Job Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Days (8-hour shifts) MondayFriday 40 hrs/week Guaranteed
Pay Rate: $50$58/hr
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Speech Language Pathologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bakersfield CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech language and swallowing evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions in an acute care setting
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and families on therapy plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adjust treatment plans based on patient response
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions
- Support improved communication and swallowing function
Requirements:
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Acute care experience preferred
