Breakfast Cook

The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with hotel standards recipes and guest preferences. This role requires strong culinary skills attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cook and present dishes according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and to the highest quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations as per health and safety regulations.
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Handle equipment safely and report any malfunctions or issues.
• Adhere to portion control standards to minimize waste.
• Support special events banquets and room service operations as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a cook or similar role in a hotel or restaurant.
• Culinary degree or professional cooking certification preferred.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures.
• Ability to follow recipes and multi-task under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 55 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a hot fast-paced kitchen environment.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced hotel kitchen environment.
• Interaction with chefs service staff and suppliers.
• Variable hours depending on business needs.
