Shift: Day Shift 3x12 Hours (06:00 19:30)
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join a high-performing surgical team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in cardiovascular procedures and comfortable working in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room
- Assist surgeons during complex cardiac procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to surgical protocols
- Monitor patient status before during and after procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document all care accurately using electronic medical records
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state required)
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- BCLS certification required
- Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures
