Job Title:	Netter Library Student Assistant
Department:	Netter Library
Student Employment Type:	Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities:	Answering basic patron questions Referring patrons in need of professional assistance to Librarians Answering the phone Check-in and check-out of library materials Processing mail Copying and scanning Library database searching Shelving books and journals Shelf reading Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:	Reliable Excellent customer services skills Good interpersonal skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work with all library patrons: students staff and faculty Ability to learn new computer programs Capable of following directions and working independently Library experience preferred but not necessary
Hours of Position:	Monday Thursday 4pm 8pm Friday 3pm 5pm Saturday and Sunday 12pm 5pm
