Social Media Intern

About the Role

The Ariat Social Media Intern will spend the summer learning the basics of social media

strategy creative and administration. The goal is to have them walk away with a hands-on

learning experience that expands their understanding of messaging brand positioning

copy and engagement a brands social media presence.

Youll Make a Difference By

• Basic Community Management identifying daily trends alerting the team to opportunities for engagement plays writing response copy and writing weekly social trend reports.
• Product Seeding learning about Ariat products and the benefits they represent to our customers.
• Influencer Identification vetting potential candidates across our brand verticals and presenting team with reports on each candidate.
• Ideation and Creative Concept Development brainstorming ideas for quick-turn content that can be created by the social team on a regular basis.
• Social Performance collecting data on account performance and social listening.
• Copy Development Learning how to follow brand voice & tone documents and
• execute post copy based on brand guidelines.
• Assisting with other responsibilities based on business needs

About You

• Currently pursuing a bachelors degree or recently graduated
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude eagerness to learn and willingness to take initiative.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh ideas and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

The hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour.

The salary is determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This contract position may be eligible for select benefits through the payrolling agency. Benefits may include medical dental and vision insurance options and 401k.
