Compensation:$57000$70000 annually (DOE)

Job Summary:
A materials supplier specializing in commercial doors frames and architectural hardware is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to manage procurement activities and support daily operations. This role is critical in ensuring materials are ordered accurately delivered on time and aligned with project requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase commercial doors frames hardware and related materials

• Maintain relationships with vendors manufacturers and distributors

• Compare pricing negotiate terms and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions

• Generate and track purchase orders ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed

• Collaborate with sales and project teams to meet customer and job requirements

• Resolve order discrepancies backorders and delivery issues

• Maintain organized records of purchases pricing and vendor communications

Qualifications:

• 2 years of purchasing procurement or supply chain experience (construction/building materials preferred)

• Familiarity with commercial door frame and hardware products is a strong plus

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Proficiency in basic computer systems (ERP/software experience preferred)

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
