We have an exciting opportunity for a BRIC Co-production Recovery Worker to join our team who has the skills and experience to engage with our service users partner agencies and local Lived Experience organisation.
Location: Walsall
Hours:Full time 37.5 per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary allowances and holidays will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Salary is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award
Responsibilities
About the role:
- Coordinate recovery community development providing tailored support through one-on-one sessions and group activities.
- Promote healthier lifestyles and support individuals in abstinence-based or medically assisted recovery.
- Work across multiple locations collaborating with partner agencies to ensure flexible service provision.
- Develop innovative resources and build strong relationships with local recovery services and partners.
- Empower those accessing treatment by building links with mutual aid and community groups.
- Promote initiatives that reduce harm increase each individuals choice and provide meaningful growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with volunteers peer mentors and service users to raise awareness of recovery activities.
- Shape the future of recovery services by identifying areas for development and ensuring high-quality interventions.
- Help individuals in recovery rebuild their lives strengthen community ties and achieve lasting success.
- Help empower people and create supportive networks that truly make a difference.
About you:
- Strong understanding of delivering high-quality services.
- In-depth knowledge of psychosocial interventions (MI CBT BSFT Relapse Avoidance ITEP Mapping).
- Experience in recovery coordination and substance misuse treatment.
- Familiarity with peer-led initiatives and partnership working with statutory and voluntary agencies.
- Experience delivering training.
- Excellent change management and partnership-building abilities.
- Clear communication skills for engaging individuals and groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Solid administrative and reporting abilities.
