Senior Engineer Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)

We are seeking a Senior Engineer Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to play a key technical and delivery role across major multidisciplined transport projects throughout ANZ based in Melbourne. Working within our Transport division you will provide technical leadership in the planning design and delivery of Intelligent Transport Systems collaborating closely with discipline leads project managers and clients.

As a Senior Engineer you will bring a strong consultancy background a proven track record delivering complex ITS projects and a passion for building trusted client relationships that drive project success and future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and undertake advanced analysis and design activities ensuring outputs meet relevant technical standards client requirements and SMEC quality expectations.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and graduates within the ITS team.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure highquality coordinated and timely delivery of multidisciplinary project outcomes.

• Contribute to project planning risk management and commercial outcomes including scope control budgets and schedules.

• Apply sound project and design management principles to deliver consistent fitforpurpose solutions.

• Support client engagement proposals and business development activities drawing on your technical expertise and industry knowledge.

The Role

You will ideally have:

• 8 years commercial experience delivering Intelligent Transport Systems projects within an engineering design consultancy.

• A Bachelors degree in Engineering (or equivalent).

• Demonstrated project experience on complex ITS projects preferably within large multidisciplinary transport programs.

• Strong experience in the coordination design and delivery of ITS solutions across multiple stakeholders and disciplines.

• Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills with confidence engaging clients and project partners.

• The ability and willingness to undertake occasional domestic or international travel.
