The Euronext Technology & Support Centre

The ambition of the new Euronext Technology & Support Centre is to build a strong team in Greece that will support the Business Lines IT and Operations functions across the Group.

In its initial phase the Centre will focus on two key initiatives:

• Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) Development Team: We will establish an in-house team responsible for developing and supporting Euronexts Graphical User Interfaces which are currently managed by an external provider.

• IT Clearing Test Factory: We will create an in-house Test Factory to support the Clearing House based in Italy. Euronext Clearing is a multi-asset-class clearing house that provides proven risk management capabilities for Euronexts cash financial and commodity derivatives markets. As the central counterparty (CCP) of choice for Euronext markets it ensures the efficient and safe functioning of the markets.

Initial roles within the Centre will include Backend Developers UI Developers Business Analysts Application Managers and QA Engineers.

Role and key responsibilities

Join our new Tech & Support centre in Athens as a Business Analyst in the MTS GUI Development team. You will be part of a team of business analysts that bridge the gap between the technical product owners and the development team ensuring the new web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for our fixed income electronic trading platforms is built to specification and meets the functional and non-functional requirements defined by the product organisation. You will report to the Team Lead and work closely with technical product owners in the MTS IT team and with developers QA specialists and UX/UI designers in the Athens centre. This is a unique opportunity to shape the functional design of a modern trading platform and contribute to a major technology transformation at one of Europes leading electronic fixed income marketplaces.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Gathering analysing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements from technical product owners for the new web-based trading GUI ensuring they are well understood and ready for development.

• Translating product requirements into detailed user stories acceptance criteria wireframes and functional specifications that can be consumed by the development and QA teams.

• Working closely with UX/UI designers to define intuitive and efficient trading workflows screen layouts and user interactions.

• Collaborating with the team lead and developers to clarify requirements assess feasibility identify dependencies and resolve ambiguities during development.

• Facilitating workshops sprint planning sessions and requirement reviews with technical product owners and the development team.

• Defining and maintaining a product backlog in collaboration with technical product owners ensuring priorities are aligned with the migration roadmap.

• Supporting the QA specialists in defining test scenarios and acceptance test criteria and participating in user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Contributing to documentation including functional specifications process maps data dictionaries and migration guides.

• Supporting change management activities including end-user training material and communication with technical product owners about new features and migration timelines.

Knowledge Personality Skills and Experience Required

• Several years of experience as a business analyst or functional analyst ideally in financial markets trading platforms capital markets technology or other complex data-intensive domains.

• Strong understanding of fixed income markets (bonds repos swaps) and electronic trading workflows is highly desirable; experience with order management market data trade lifecycle or similar systems is a plus.

• Proven ability to elicit structure and document requirements using user stories use cases process flows wireframes or similar techniques.

• Experience working in agile environments (e.g. Scrum or Kanban) alongside developers QA and product owners with a solid understanding of backlog management and sprint ceremonies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business processes into clear actionable specifications.

• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to facilitate discussions between technical product owners and the development team and liaise effectively with remote teams.

• Proficiency in requirements management and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira Confluence or similar).

• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and experience collaborating with designers on user-centred solutions.

• Familiarity with data analysis SQL or reporting tools for investigating business logic and data flows is a plus.

• Knowledge of web application architecture concepts (APIs WebSockets client-server models) is a plus enabling effective communication with the development team.

• Familiarity with AI tools for requirements analysis documentation or productivity enhancement is a plus.
