Staff Engineer I GRC

What youll do:

• Independently manage assigned workstreams from concept through completion with minimal supervision.
• Administer and support enterprise GRC platforms including configuration customization upgrades and ongoing optimization to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GRC platforms with enterprise applications databases and data pipelines ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application integration and performance issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide user support training and documentation to promote effective adoption of GRC platforms.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies industry trends and best practices to drive improvements in GRC processes and systems.
• Facilitate technical dialogue reviews and collaboration across delivery teams while supporting architectural and governance standards.

What youll need:

• 5 years of development and/or implementation experience for enterprise applications in Java Java Script frameworks (VueJS/React) SQL PostgreSQL.
• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing and supporting Governance Risk and Controls platforms.
• Familiarity with IT security data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g. GDPR HIPAA SOX).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Jira Git and CI/CD or DevOps toolchains preferred.
• Knowledge of GRC frameworks such as COSO ISO 31000 NIST or similar preferred.
• Hands-on experience configuring and customizing GRC platforms (e.g. SAI360 RSA Archer SAP GRC) preferred.
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and large-scale data integration across systems preferred.
• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau Power BI or MicroStrategy preferred.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• May require up to 25% travel.
