The impact youll make
Reporting to the HR Director the successful candidate will be the key member of HRBP team. The ideal incumbent is expected to be a strategic partner with strong operational mindset and experienced in implementing global policies and practices within a local context. And someone who is experienced with HR COE model savvy in partnership with Global COE and HR operations leaders to meet business needs within SEA region.
What youll do
- Partner with the HRBP leader and local stakeholders to understand the companys strategy and translate organization capability needs into human resource initiatives
- Play a key contributor in delivering the annual HR initiatives and business driven
- organizational and people strategies as defined in annual planning cycles (AOP)
- Responsible for implementing the initiatives that are relating to organization effectiveness org design/development succession and workforce planning for the regional businesses
- Champion Lam Researchs core values as role models of the culture built on a foundation of honesty and integrity
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and managers in hiring activities onboard and assimilate talent to fulfill growing business needs
- Coach leaders to optimize high-performing teams and leverage shared services to address employee relations issues
- Ability to communicate effectively to build strong relationships across the organization and project credible HRBP quality and image
- Establish effective working relationships with regional COE leaders and teams to ensure successful talent and rewards strategies
- Being one of the advocates for One-HR team and capable of representing SEA in all HR matters by advocating for all businesses within the region and fit to represent Lam externally on employer branding statutory requirements meetings and conferences
Who were looking for
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 6 years and a Masters degree
- Prior experience in MNC matrixed organization and HRBP role in partnering with business leaders to deliver results through human resource initiatives
- Capable of handling multiple projects prioritizing and acting with a sense of urgency
- Understanding how to balance strategy and business acumen to best invest resources and maximize impact
- Possess strong interpersonal and influence skills to establish and build strong rapport and partnerships with stakeholders and Global Human Resources
- A motivated independent professional who is able to work with minimum supervision and follow through to impactful execution
- Operate with a sense of urgency bias for action and possess an authentic desire to thrive in a complex organization
- Meticulous and detail-oriented with prior hands-on experience in complex HR and matrix environment
- Excellent customer relationship management and consultation skills including influencing and collaboration
- Experience in the semiconductor industry preferred

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex youll work 3 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex youll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location and remotely the rest of the time.
