• Assist with general yard clean up/maintenance
• Assist with cleaning of equipment cutting steel banding for package securement monitoring disposal of items and railcar securement
• Work in adherence to all safe work practices procedures as well as all regulatory requirements
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency ofyardshop department or work crew
• Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulationsparticipateinidentifyinghazards
• Comply withall rules and regulationsprotocolsand established metrics
• Establish or adjust daily tasks/schedules to meet changing order priorities
• Maintenance of fleet equipment (i.e..washand paint equipment)
• Follow maintenance testing and repairs procedures of products
• Keep yard and equipment neat and organized
• Provide internal and external customer service excellence
• Cross training on other functions at the reload
• Other duties as assigned bysupervisor/manager

• Can carry at least 50lbsand swing a 10lbs sledge hammer
• Previous general labourer experience is an asset
• Forklift operation is an asset
• Good physical condition
• Ability to climb ladders throw rail cables and lift 50lbs
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (snow rain sub-freezingtemps heat wind)
• Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Demonstratesstrong communicationskills both verbally and written
• Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Experience working with computers is an asset
