Salary range: $4812-$5820 stipend
Time Commitment:
- Six days a week
- Twenty to twenty-five hours a week
- three matches a week
- Season length- 8/24/2026 11/7/2026

SUMMARY:
The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding head coach to coach the golf team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence equity and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning all areas oftheir team
- Leading and assistingtheir coaching staff in coordinating efforts under one program goal and ensuring compliance with rules at all levels.
- Analyze game strategy.
- Implementation of skill development.
- Coverage on bus trips.
- Video analysis of matches.
- Statistical analysis of matches.
- Attend all league and local district and state meetings when necessary.
- Reaching out to local youth groups to promote their respective sports in town.
- Planning award ceremonies and individual award winners.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- CPR certified
- NFHS concussion course completed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience coaching golf
- Strong communication and leadership skills
