Position Summary

Fabricate metal components by manual machining and operating CNC machines.

Position Responsibilities

• Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously efficiently running parts through the equipment.
• Operate band saws drill presses and other manual machining equipment.
• Perform machining operations for milling boring grinding lathe.
• Create product based on work orders and drawings.
• Use wide range of precision measuring instruments to maintain a close tolerance.
• Complete reports issue material to work order as required file prints.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Proficient in part inspection including use of calipers bore gauges thread gauges and micrometers.
• Familiarity with CNC controllers
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Team player.
• Communication skills (written and oral).
• Basic math reading and writing skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of ISO9001 and LEAN
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Fast learner. Able to pick up new processes quickly.

Education and Certification

• CNC Operator Certificate or Equivalent Experience

Compensation Range for the Position:

Offer amount determined by experience and review of internal talent.
