About the role
Thisisntjust about managinghomes itsabout people places and creating thriving the lead of working in one of our area neighbourhoods building meaningful relationships with customers and making a real difference on the ground.
As a Neighbourhood Housing Manageryou willbe responsibleforthe management of a patch of approximately 400 want you to get to know our customers so that if we do need to have some difficult conversationsitseasier to have them with someone they know and are a housing provider who targets zero evictions and you will have a key role to play in delivering this commitment. You will be connected to ourcustomersyoullknow at an early stage if things are going wrong and you can call upon support of our community development and housing support services toassistour customers to continue to livesafelyin their homes.
Skills and Experience Needed
Youllbring solid experience in tenancy and estate management working collaboratively to deliver flexible customerfocused confident building strong relationships with external agencies and electedrepresentatives andcommitted to putting customers will have a strong knowledge of housing legislation including the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016
Experience of managingantisocialbehaviour and safeguarding cases the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound proportionate decisionsas well as being confidentinthe useof digital systems andaccuraterecordkeeping
A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience is essential along with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle to engage with the communities this role are happy to discuss reasonable adjustments have a proventrack recordof delivering great service and contributing to continuous improvement.
