Catch 22 are working with a national public sector organisation at the heart of the creative and cultural sector to appoint an experienced Senior Facilities Manager on a temporary contract.
This is a senior strategic estates role on a clear shortterm contract offering hybrid working and the chance to make a real impact. Youll focus on driving value of contracts cost savings and sustainability across a national property portfolio while working closely with senior stakeholders on highlevel estates strategy.
Contract & Key Details
Contract: Temporary
Duration: Start date of June until December 2026
Rate: 276.18 per day (equivalent to 72000 per annum)
Working model: Hybrid
Interviews: Microsoft Teams 15th May
Location: Ideally based from Manchester (There is flexibility to work from other main offices including Birmingham Bristol or London. Occasional travel to other sites is required (public by transport preferred).
The Role
Strategic estates and property management
Lease management negotiations and lease events
Contract oversight and supplier management
Identifying and delivering cost savings across the portfolio
Supporting and implementing longterm estates strategy
Oversight of propertyrelated budgets and financial planning
Ensuring statutory compliance across all estates activity
Championing sustainability environmental initiatives and efficient use of space
Ideal Candidate
A degreelevel qualification (or equivalent) in estates management surveying property architecture or a related discipline (Preferred but not essential)
Significant experience managing a large complex multisite property portfolio
Strong understanding of leases contracts dilapidations and negotiations
Proven experience delivering costsaving and portfolio optimisation initiatives
Experience overseeing external consultants professional services and contractors
Strong financial and budget management capability
Clear commitment to sustainability and environmentally responsible estates management
Public or thirdsector experience is advantageous but not essential.
