Location: Houston TX
Assignment Details
- Duration: 42 Weeks ( School Year)
- Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 2:30 PM
- Hours: 37.5 hours/week (All billable)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across multiple grade levels within a collaborative school district. This role offers a team-based environment with shared caseloads and strong support. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
Key Details
- Setting: School District (Multiple Grade Levels)
- Caseload: Shared with 23 SLPs per campus
- Schedule: 5 x 7.5-hour days
- Environment: Collaborative and team-oriented
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and goal setting
- Collaborate with SLP team for caseload management
- Maintain documentation and progress reports
- Support diverse communication disorders
- Ensure compliance with education standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas SLP License (or in process)
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage shared caseloads
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple grade levels
- Knowledge of IEP processes
- Strong organizational skills
- Adaptability in school settings
