Cook Nonprofit FullTime (WedSun)

• Assist with preparation seasoning and cooking of meals
• Ensure timely meal service and proper food temperatures
• Supervise and support kitchen crew and Rancher/Resident helpers
• Maintain a safe clean and sanitary kitchen environment
• Organize and maintain walkin coolers and storage areas
• Check in food deliveries for quality and quantity and ensure proper storage
• Oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Culinary Manager
• Accurately complete production sanitation and operational records
• Inspect kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs
• Support food delivery to ranch homes while maintaining sanitation standards

• High school diploma or GED
• 23 years of food service or cooking experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Ability to multitask and maintain strong organization in a fastpaced kitchen
• Reliable responsible and teamoriented work ethic
• Ability to work closely with staff residents and volunteers
• Ability to read speak and write in English
• Possess or obtain a Food Managers Card
• Must successfully complete:
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Background check
  • Preemployment physical
  • Drug screening
  • Reference check
  • Verification of absence from the Arizona APS Registry
• CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Demonstrated ethical behavior professionalism and respect for residents
• Alignment with a Christian faithbased mission preferred
