Job Summary

Were looking for a passionate and proactive Communities Manager to help strengthen Calisens presence and positive impact across the communities we serve. Acting as a key ambassador for the business youll build longterm partnerships with local organisations charities schools and community groups helping us deliver meaningful social value while enhancing our reputation as a responsible trusted organisation.

Working closely with our Corporate Affairs Director and internal teams youll lead the planning and delivery of community engagement initiatives that align with our values brand and social value ambitionsensuring our community activity delivers real measurable impact.

What youll be responsible for:

  • Building and managing strong longterm partnerships with community organisations charities educational groups and local stakeholders
  • Leading community engagement initiatives that support Calisens social value strategy and brand objectives
  • Acting as Calisens external ambassador at community events meetings and forums
  • Identifying new opportunities to increase community impact and longterm value
  • Coordinating colleague involvement in volunteering programmes campaigns and partnership events
  • Monitoring measuring and reporting on community outcomes and social value impact
  • Working with Marketing and Communications to share community stories internally and externally
  • Managing communityrelated budgets and resources responsibly
  • Building strong relationships across the business to embed community engagement into wider priorities

About you

Youre a confident communicator and natural relationshipbuilder who enjoys working across communities and organisations to create positive change. Youre organised proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects while keeping people and purpose at the heart of what you do.

What youll bring

Essential:

  • Experience building and managing community or external partnerships
  • A track record of delivering community engagement or social impact programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Experience representing an organisation externally as a trusted ambassador
  • Ability to measure outcomes and report on social value or community impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence presenting to internal and external audiences

Desirable:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications Community Development Public Relations or a related field
  • Experience coordinating volunteering or employee engagement initiatives
  • Awareness of safeguarding practices when working with youth and community groups
  • A full UK driving licence
