R&D Logistics Engineer
Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Lead new product development projects ensuring delivery against cost performance manufacturability quality and time-to-market objectives
Drive effective project management practices and support cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution
Plan and coordinate logistics procurement and supply chain activities to support R&D and product development
Manage supplier interactions including onboarding coordination and procurement execution
Oversee material and product logistics including shipments between customers and global sites
Plan and monitor CAPEX investments within the R&D organization
Coordinate Special Build Requests (SBRs) and development-related production activities across multiple sites
Align production activities across wafer fabrication assembly test and certification to meet project timelines
Support new product introduction into MES systems ensuring compliance with established production processes
Drive risk management activities including identification tracking and mitigation
Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and global teams to ensure efficient project execution
Skills & Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Supply Chain Logistics Industrial Engineering Project Management or a related field or equivalent experience
35 years of experience in logistics procurement supply chain production planning or project coordination within a high-tech or R&D environment
Experience supporting product development pilot production or manufacturing operations
Familiarity with supplier management CAPEX planning and logistics coordination
Experience with MES systems and risk management processes is an advantage
Skills:

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively across global teams and functions

Solid understanding of supply chain procurement and manufacturing processes
Working Conditions
This position operates in a dynamic international environment with close interaction across R&D production and supporting functions.
The role requires frequent cross-functional collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders both locally and globally to support development projects and product introductions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work effectively in both office and production-related environments.
May require occasional movement between office lab and manufacturing areas.
Ability to perform standard computer-based tasks and administrative coordination work.
