Job Summary
- Draft and execute the full transaction legal documentation pack for every deployment
- Prepare and issue Legal Close Certificates as the mandatory gate before any procurement proceeds
- Draft and review PPAs Equipment Lease Agreements MoUs Revenue Collection Agreements and Land Leases
- Structure and enforce offtake agreements and aggregation contracts for produce-deduction models
- Conduct legal due diligence on operators land rights and regulatory compliance status
- Maintain corporate governance documentation board resolutions compliance registers regulatory filings
- Design the default escalation and asset repossession legal framework
- Advise on regulatory compliance across applicable jurisdictions and sector regulators
- Total Professional Experience- 510 years
- Qualified Legal Practitioner- Required (Nigerian Bar (BL) mandatory)
- Commercial Contract Drafting- Required (infrastructure or energy asset agreements preferred)
- Infrastructure / Asset Finance Legal Experience- Preferred
- Land Documentation & Asset Security- Required
- Regulatory Compliance- Required (SEC NERC or equivalent)
- Corporate Governance- Required
