Introduction to the job

Are you at the end of your bachelors degree or at the beginning of your masters studies in Environmental Engineering Sustainability Sciences or a comparable field and want to do more than just observe - you want to actively contribute As a Working student for sustainability & energy corporate real estate you will play an important role in driving sustainable change at ASML Berlin. You will turn data into insights support operational processes and actively contribute to energyefficiency projects creating real impact for the environment and the future.

In the departments of the Supporting Functions you may not come into direct contact with our products but with your expertise you contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our company. Only with colleagues from these structured efficient and supportive departments such as Human Resources Accounting Controlling IT and Communications is it possible for us to grow beyond ourselves and achieve our goals as a company.

Role and responsibilities

As a working student for sustainability & energy corporate real estate you will:

• support administrative and operational activities within the Sustainability & Energy (Corporate Real Estate) team.

• prepare environmental and energy data for reports perform plausibility checks and crosscheck data.

• support the maintenance update and continuous improvement of our Energy Management System (ISO 50001).

• identify deviations trends and energysaving potential and contribute to the development of appropriate measures.

• track energyrelated processes and follow up on agreed energy savings improvement actions.

• participate in energy audits and support their preparation and followup.

Education and experience

• You are a Bachelors or Maters student in Environmental Engineering Sustainability Sciences or a comparable program and are looking for a longterm student position.

• You are intrinsically motivated and passionate about sustainability and energy topics.

• You enjoy working with data and numbers analyzing them and presenting results clearly.

• You work analytically in a structured and reliable manner and are open to a wide range of topics.

• You learn quickly are flexible and take ownership of your responsibilities.

• You have basic knowledge of building technology or electrical engineering (e.g. handling electrical parameters) and initial exposure to standards and management systems such as or 14001or ISO 50001.

• You communicate clearly and confidently in both German and English.

Nur mit den Kollegen und Kolleginnen aus diesen strukturierten leistungsbereiten und unterstützenden Abteilungen wie dem Personal der Buchhaltung dem Controlling der IT und der Kommunikation ist es uns möglich über uns hinaus zu wachsen und unsere Ziele als Unternehmen zu erreichen.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Werkstudent:in für Nachhaltigkeit & Energie corporate real estate wirst du:

• administrative und operative Tätigkeiten im Team Sustainability & Energy (Corporate Real Estate) unterstützen.

• Umwelt- und Energiedaten für Berichte aufbereiten Plausibilitätsprüfungen durchführen und Daten abgleichen.

• bei der Pflege Aktualisierung und kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unseres Energiemanagementsystems (ISO 50001) mitwirken.

• Abweichungen Trends und Energieeinsparpotenziale identifizieren und zur Entwicklung geeigneter Maßnahmen beitragen.

• energiebezogene Prozesse nachverfolgen und vereinbarte Maßnahmen zur Energieeinsparung überwachen.

• an Energieaudits teilnehmen sowie deren Vorbereitung und Nachbereitung unterstützen.

Deine Qualifikation

• Du bist Bachelor- oder Masterstudent:in im Bereich Umwelttechnik Nachhaltigkeitswissenschaften oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang und suchst eine längerfristige Werkstudententätigkeit.

• Du bist intrinsisch motiviert und begeisterst dich für Nachhaltigkeits- und Energiethemen.

• Du arbeitest gerne mit Daten und Zahlen analysierst diese und bereitest Ergebnisse verständlich auf.

• Du arbeitest analytisch strukturiert und zuverlässig und bist offen für vielfältige Themen.

• Du lernst schnell bist flexibel und übernimmst Verantwortung für deine Aufgaben.

• Du verfügst über Grundkenntnisse in der Gebäudetechnik oder Elektrotechnik (z. B. Umgang mit elektrischen Kenngrößen) sowie erste Erfahrungen mit Normen und Managementsystemen wie ISO 14001 oder ISO 50001.

• Du kommunizierst sicher und klar auf Deutsch und Englisch.
