DescriptionDo you want to be part of a busy team working to manage flood risk across East Sussex Were looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Flood Risk Technician who can provide support to the Flood Risk Management team in their role as the Lead Local Flood Authority.
As a Flood Risk Technician you will play a key role in ensuring colleagues can deliver high quality services. The role touches on all aspects of the work of the Lead Local Flood Authority and youll maintain accurate and reliable records undertake research for team members and analyse data using GIS addition to your core duties youll also assist team members on site visits and flood investigations.
Were looking for someone who:
- Can use their initiative to solve problems plan and organise their workload and adapt to changing deadlines.
- Is skilled in the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) particularly QGIS.
- Can analyse interpret and clearly present data to those with varying technical knowledge.
- Has knowledge of the work of a Lead Local Flood Authority.
