Your Role:

As a Direct Care Worker you will play vital part in helping persons served gain independence develop daily living skills and reach their personal goals. Youll provide compassionate support in a team-based environment where your contributions are valued.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Motivates and encourages clients who have an acquired brain injury to progress in the home environment as well as in the community
• Assists clients with activities of daily living
• Supports clients by preparing them for their day and assisting them getting to and from work therapy and other appointments
• Range of motion exercises Performs household services essential to home health care Attends concerts sporting events and other entertainment activities with clients

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to stand bend and assist with transfers

Anticipated Work Schedule:

7am-7pm & 7pm-7am (rotating weekends)
